Egholm Snow V-Plough for City Ranger 3070

Egholm's Snow V-Plough attachment for the City Ranger 3070 uses the tip of the "V' to cut through heavy and encrusted snow, separating and pushing it to both sides. Even large amounts of snow are removed with ease.

It can also be configured as a "Y' to allow snow to be transported away - very useful in car parks, markets, enclosed courtyards and other locations where snow needs to be gathered in one place.

The V-plough follows the ground & the cutting edges of the V-plough are kept in place by heavy springs which also means that they can steer clear of (tip backwards) any manhole covers or other obstacles hidden in the snow and ice.

You can achieve dual efficiency with a combination of the quick-working snow V-plough at the front and the salt and sand spreader at the back of the City Ranger 2260 which means that snow clearing and salting are completed in a single pass - on snow up to 45 cm thick and 1.4-1.6 metres wide.

As well as being extremely efficient, the snow V-plough is also very quiet and comfortable to operate.

Features:

• Hydraulic Angle Adjustment - the snow V-plough angle can be adjusted from the controls inside the cabin, making it easy for the operator to adjust the blade when needed.
• Safety Tilt System - when operating in deep snow there is a risk of hitting obstacles. The safety tilt function reduces the risk of damages both to the V-plough and surroundings.
• Adjustable Weight Distribution - the automatic weight distribution makes the snow V-plough suitable for clearing gravel paths as well.
• Vulkollan or Steel Scraper Edge - the vulcanised rubber scraping edge is good for surfaces that require extra care, with the steel edge used for more robust, harder surfaces. The scraper edge can be turned and used on two sides giving double usage and extended lifetime. The snow V-plough can be mounted with either vulcanised rubber scraper or steel scraper.
• Floating Skids - the 2 skids are hight adjustable and ensures that the blade follows ground variations.
• Indication Reflexes - reflexes marking the edge of the snow V-plough increases the safety for both snow V-plough and surroundings.

Optional Equipment:

• Indication Flags - flags marking the edge of the snow V-plough allows for precise positioning and increases the safety for both snow V-plough and surroundings (incl. flex pole).
• Side Position Lights - increase the visibility of the snow V-plough.
• Support Wheels - designed to operate at higher speeds. Operation is more quiet than with skids and they have less wear reducing costs.
• Turf tires - though they are named turf tires they are also excellent for winter driving. The way the thread pattern is designed means you will have a minimum of snow build up in the tire thread. This allows for a good traction when driving in snow.
• Winter Tires (15”) with Snow Chains - can be useful in snowy conditions, on steep hills or icy surfaces. The chains provides a better grip and increase the efficiency of the operation
