The Egholm snow plough connects to the City Ranger 2260 & operates on streets, paths, pavements, parking areas, etc.
The shape of the snow plough makes a great difference. It affects the way the snow is collected, the amount of snow that can be shifted and the way the snow plough releases itself from the snow. Egholm has studied this process carefully and the curved shape of the snow plough has been designed for optimal results.
With its four-wheel drive and good weight distribution, the City Ranger 2260 pushes aside even the largest snow drifts. The utility machine is one metre wide and the snow plough is 1.3 m wide - and it can still reach small areas as it can turn. Even if the snow plough is completely turned, it stays clear of the utility machine.
The clearing width is between 1130 and 1300 mm depending on the inclination of the blade. Maximum inclination is 30 degrees and can be adjusted from the comfort of the cabin. To protect both the cover and the machine, this snow plough is equipped with safety tilt and rubber edge.
Features:
- Hydraulic Angle Adjustment - the snow plough angle can be adjusted from the controls inside the cabin, making it easy for the operator to adjust the blade when needed.
- Safety Tilt System - when operating in deep snow there is a risk of hitting obstacles. The safety tilt function reduces the risk of damages both to the plough and surroundings.
- Rubber Scraper Edge - 100 mm high, 26 mm thick and 1300 mm wide rubber scraper. The scraper edge can be used on two sides giving double usage and extended lifetime. The rubber scraping edge is ideal for use with melting snow and also scrapes the surface thoroughly without damaging it.
- Floating Skids - the 2 skids are hight adjustable and ensures that the blade follows ground variations.
